Iphone call volume question

Hello gang. I'M a new iphone nut. I love everything about it so far. But the call volume and speaker volume doesn't seem that great. Just wanted to know is that the problem everyone is having with the call volume?

I don't use speaker much so I can't comment, but I have had to turn call volume (voice volume during a call) down. Is that what you mean?

No, I mean the volume when I'M talking to someone.

Hmmmm, I've never really asked. But then again, I have not had any complaints.

Yep, if I had a beef with my iphone it would probably be the lack of volume! This includes both the phone for talking to someone and some music. But other than that its the best thing since sliced bread!

Have you seen the Disney map apps in the app store? I just downloaded them this weekend and they are so much fun.

Ok...I had this problem and then realized that I had done something quite stupid...but once I finally fixed the issue--no more problem.

Have you removed the plastic screen protector that comes with the iphone? I clipped the tab at the bottom with a scissors, but left it on thinking that I was protecting the screen, but didn't realize that the sheet that comes on the phone covers up the small hole from which the sound comes when talking on the phone. Once I removed the original plastic screen cover and replaced it with a regular screen protector from Best Buy, I didn't have anymore problems.

P.S. I'm embarrassed to admit that it took me several months of complaining before I realized what the problem was.

I have this problem when DW doesn't speak directly into her iPhone but otherwise, I have not had anyone tell me they could not hear me on my iPhone.

I haven't had problems with anyone hearing me when I talk on my iPhone. But, when there are other people around talking or music or something in the background, it seems to amplify the background noise very much and it is then hard to hear me talking.

I will be getting a bluetooth headset soon. But which one, that's the question.
