iPhone battery pack

Need help Been looking to get a battery pack for my iPhone 4S to use when in the parks
Anyone no which ones are the best and the smallest

We purchased the New Trent brand and still use it almost a year later. Model IMP 100P. it is a little bigger than a 4S, has 2 charging ports so my husband and daughter could both charge. It lasted the whole day for sure and we still had charge when we recharged it at night. Could also charge ipad, but we never took to parks. I got a smaller version for my Android phone and it worked great too.

I like the Mophie Juice pack. It is little bulky, but I've used it on full days in the parks and it was a lifesaver for my iPhone 4S - without it I would've been out of battery life by noon.

I wouldn't call the Mophie Juice Pack "bulky". It adds a total of 1/4 inch to the bottom of the phone. That's it. The rest of the case is no bigger than any other case. Holds at least a full charge. I use it in the parks and for golfing.

We also have an Anker external battery that you have to connect to a phone via a charging cable that holds about three-four charges. The chord bit is only annoying if you are walking around. If you just plug it in during a meal or long show it is fine. I keep it in my camera bag.

Definitely go with an Anker one, they're cheap, And have great amounts of mah. Also the juice packs are very bulky. They do only add a little to the bottom of the phone, but on the 4S, the juice pack is 17mm thick. The iPhone 4S is 9.3mm. So it will just about double the phones thickness.


IMO I would go with this one, half the price of most Mophie cases and ten times the power. I have the smaller lipstick size Anker for daily back up charging and it works great.

I have a Targus one I picked up at a Staples for like $40.

Works great. Compact...get several charges out of it in one day. I have a 4S as well. However, it will change anything with a USB power cord (iPads, cameras, running watches, Nike Fuel Band...etc.) Only complaint is that the device take a bit to recharge itself. No biggie, I just plug it in and charge it when we get back to the room for the evening and it is ready to go by morning.

I Love it! I never head to the parks (or board a plane) without it!
