iPhone Back-up Battery

While we're talking about battery backups, there's a little device coming out later this year (supposedly) - it's the RCA Airnergy WiFi Harvesting Charger. It converts ambient wifi into electrical charge to charge a battery. It's supposed to retail for about $40. I am SO getting this.

I checked one of the local Target stores today and they had this (didn't check the model number to see if it was the same) but it was not on sale. It was $39.99. the difference I noticed between what Target sells and what I got at Brookstone is that the Target package contains the charger and a USB cable so you can charge the battery by hooking up to any USB source. The one I got at Brookstone also had a 120v wall plug that the USB cable could plug into.

Timely thread. We just got our iPhones two weeks ago and have been wondering about backup batteries for use in WDW when we might drain the batteries watching video or playing games while waiting for rides and shows. I'll be in Target tomorrow to pickup the Princess & the Frog bluray, so I can just hop a couple of isles over to check for the clearance Dexim's. Also going to checkout the Betamouse podcast (have to wait to get home - podcast too big to download over the 3G )
