Can anyone recommend any good Disney apps? So far I just have the E-ticket one.

Also, I'd like an app to access my MSN and AIM - I know there are a few advertise they do this, any recommendations on the best?

Disney ones i have are...

WDW Dining (great app has all the menus with prices)
WDW Wait times
Toy Story Mania

(what i usually do is type disney in the search bar and browse everything)

The one i use for Msn,Aim is EBuddy can also access Facebook Chat with it.

Does the wait times work when you're actually in WDW then?
Does your phone pic up an American network? And is there an extra charge for browsing the web over there, or does your tariff include it?
Sorry for all the questions!

Lol sorry hun i don't know the answer to the questions all i know is it is Exspensive to browse in US.

It's definitely possible to get wait times while you're in the parks, but it will cost quite a bit to do this because you have to pay roaming charges for data which are VERY expensive and never included with your tariff...

As for apps for msn/aim - I use meebo which is nice because it's free :thumbsup2

I am a fan of E-ticket :thumbsup2

I also have the following -Swan & Dolphin; S&D Dining; Lines; Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studions and Animal Kingdom maps; WDW Dining.

Hi

DD has "Free Walt Disney World Times" on hers

Apparently it shows you all the wait times of the rides and shows:thumbsup2

:lmao: facebook was the 1st one i did ! im still getting the hang of it tho, i keep pressing the wrong buttons.

You have to remember though that you can't use some of the applications that require internet / wifi in the States with leaving yourself with a HUGE phone bill. I have the wait times one on my iphone, but didn't use it hardly at all, as I didn't have the roaming facility on so I couldn't be charged.

You can use the applications if you find a wifi area though, there are a few around I think, so thats one way.

If anybody is interested, the Disneyland version of E-Ticket (the DISboard's iPhone app) is currently half price (£1.79 vs £3.49 for the WDW version).

Apart from allowing you to plan your trip, E-Ticket is (in my opinion) a much better way of accessing DIS from the iPhone, so if that's all you want it for, then I'd definitely suggest getting the Disneyland version.

If you want the planning stuff, then you'll probably be wanting to pay the extra to get the WDW version though :thumbsup2

No problem :goodvibes

I've been using E-Ticket since it came out. As it happens, I've got the DL version because I actually visit DL (haven't been to WDW in nearly 15 years :scared1:), but I wouldn't go back to safari now I've got it.

The new Virgin Atlantic one is really handy I have the BA one too.

I use the Kayak search one a lot - really handy to compare prices.

I also have two apps for the Swan and Dolphin, one with all the hotel details, photos etc and direct links for any reservations at the spa etc and video one with videos of the resort :thumbsup2
