Iphone and battery life

Thanks for your battery suggestions. I changed some of my settings so that it wasn't pushing all the time. I will test it out on Monday to see how long it can go. I was listening to an app radio program through the phone and figured that that was probably wearing down the battery too.

Wondering what type of battery extender that others use for their iPhone

My iPhone 3G battery only lasts til the afternoon when I'm live-blogging and Tweeting pictures on a park day, so I got the Kensington Ultra Portable Battery Pack, which lets me recharge the phone in my backpack. It's about $50 on Amazon, but you can find it cheaper on eBay.

What I like about it is that the phone doesn't have to be removed from its case - there's a cable that goes into the bottom, and I can keep the battery in one pocket and the phone in another with just the long cable between them. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to recharge, depending on whether I'm still using the phone while it charges. The other cool thing is that it doubles as a plug-in wall charger for the iPhone.
