iPad Mini

In searching for an iPad for DH for Christmas I stumbled upon the iPad Mini. I'm thinking of getting this for me but only after the holidays. I haven't found too many reviews on them. Does anyone have one? What are your thoughts on it? If I'm going to pay that much for the mini, should I just get an iPad?

DGF has the mini, and she loves it...thinks it is the perfect size! I told her she should just get an iPad, but she didn't really want that. The screen on the iPad is better, so if you'll be watching a lot of shows, it might be worth it to splurge. She watches Netflix on her mini all the time tho, and has no complaints!

I will say...DGF originally got a nexus 7, loved it...then decided she just had to have the mini. She no longer uses the nexus, and says the mini is head and shoulders better. We are actually thinking of selling the nexus since she isn't using it at all....

I had the first generation iPad and never used it. So I never felt the need to buy the 2nd or 3rd generation. It was awkward for me. I just got the iPad mini this past week and I haven't put it down. I fits in my purse and is lightweight. But DH loves his regular iPad. Maybe it's a man thing. But I can't say enough good things about the mini!

I'd love to find a good deal on the iPad mini. We are getting my oldest DS one for Christmas. An iTunes or store gift card along with it would be nice. I want one too but will wait until after Christmas. I like the small size better than the big iPad. I played with one at SAMs club the other day. Can't wait to get mine.

iPad is higher resolution. The mini is standard resolution but more portable because it is smaller and lighter. They run the same apps.

I bought an iPad when they first came out. Loved it! In July I bought the new iPad. Loved it! Two weeks ago we were at the apple store and I saw the iPad mini. I had to have it! I love the size and weight. For me it is way better than the full sized iPads. (Which are now listed online for sale). Lol
