I found a place locally that does it. I guess it depends on what you want to spend. You can ship to them and they will ship it back. If you want I can put their website here for ya

Our ipad glass just cracked also and after doing a little research I found that it is not to hard to replace it yourself. There are replacement kits you can get on Amazon for pretty cheap with instructions or there are instructional videos on Youtube. Good luck!

In theory that sounds great, but, unfortunately I am one of those unhandy (word?) people that can't even sew a button on a shirt and takes it to the tailor for repair

I will check out the suggested places - hard to know where to send it - so many listed on internet.
