Got a new iPad 2 weeks ago. Ordered/installed a case and a screen overlay.
It seems as if the overlay makes the screen less sensitive to the touch, and less easy to use.
Read quite a few forums...Apple no longer sells screen protectors...some say glass screen is almost impervious scratches due to type of glass and coating.
Saw a video where the screen could not be scratched with a nail.
Some say putting screen protector on iPad is like leaving the plastic on a couch...sure it keeps it clean but does not allow product to be used as designed.
Others say protectors can actually cause the iPad to run hotter.
Many others swear by the protectors...which if I spent $20 on one, I'd be bragging on it too.
Experienced iPad users...What say you?
