My son likes to play games on the computer and I was hoping I could kick him off mine to his ipad. However many of the websites require adobe to play and it won't install on the ipad. Grrrr what do we do to get around this? I really disappointed because one of his favorite game sites was all math games and he can't play in on there.
BTW we have the 1st generation wifi only

This is a major criticism of Apple products -- they don't/won't support software made by Adobe (Flash - which is needed for many games and Acrobat - their PDF reader).

I installed the Cloud Browse app. This will start a Firefox browser, and runs Flash.. So you can run many of the Adobe needed games. Cloud Browse will run a ten minute session for free. If you upgrade ($5/month), it's unlimited time. It's been a lifesaver since the kids can now play all their games.

I understand your frustrations with the flash player on some of my favoriate games, however I have signed up for this app which recommends apps for me, and lots of them are games. I usually don't play a lot of games on my ipad,I use it mostly for email and other activites. However, my hubby and kids love to play them and have downloaded many games from this app. It is called Monster Free Apps. They will send you notices when some paid apps are free or really reduced. I enjoy the benefits of knowing when apps are on sale and it has proved to be really beneficial for my hubby and kids. So much so, that I have found that I have to make them get off the ipad so I can use it, lol :lmao: .
