Does anyone know where I can get a good case for our ipad 2? We would prefer a case that would protect it from being dropped or water.
My DH found one online for $400 and I am sorry but I am not paying more for the case than I did for the ipad. And before I get questioned on how come my ipad was under $400, I work at a store and got 20% off for a christmas present.
So, any help in finding a great case for a great price would be greatly appreciated!

I just got my husband a ipad and case for christmas from bestbuy the case is so good i didn't buy a warranty it was $80 protects it from dust wind rain water 6 foot drop on concrete floor it has a case that completly encases it so no screen protector peelies are needed because there is a hard plastic permanent one and then a thick rubber case that goes over it. I highly recommend this case he is a machinist and wants to use it for work and it is awsome. If there is not a bestbuy near you they have a website.

Try overstock.com I got a really nice case that was about $40 cheaper than in the store. They have a lot of different cases at decent prices.

Yes, but what case is this? :confused3

I'm guessing this poster is referring to the Griffin Technology - Survivor Case for Apple iPad 2. It costs half the Best Buy price on Amazon.

Thanks all!

I went ahead and ordered the Griffin but I couldnt get it from Amazon as they wouldnt ship the case to Canada. I did manage to find it available online at Bestbuy.ca and got it for $66 Cdn with free shipping, so I am happy with that.

Happy new Year!

Survivor Case for Apple iPad 2 is what I got for DH I got it for $48 including shipping from Macmall on black friday.

I'm typing this on an iPad with the Survivor case - love he case! It is big, but I don't hesitate to hand it over to he kinds outfitted with this thing. It feels bomb-proof. Love it!

The iPad is a computer, not a frisbee. I don't see why you need such protection. Our case is made by marware. It isn't any of those things you listed, but it is a very nice case.

We have purchased both the Otterbox Defender and the Griffin Survivor. Bother are good cases. We like the Griffin Survivor because it covers the whole unit with a shield on the front. The new otterbox for the Ipad2 does not come with a screen protector. Both cost under $100 and are worth every penny.

Google them... we bought the griffin survivor from Best buy for $60 something...

have you tried ebags or overstocks? they usually have good bargains on good products. From there i would compare the prices to Amazon.

I looked at many many youtube reviews & read a lot of reviews before deciding on my case. Some cases report breaking & falling apart after only a couple months of use. Others report problems in design & use.

I am picky about how things function.

Do your research. The cases were not cheap. And decide how you will use your iPad. Some cases good for on a table, but maybe not for holding or on your lap on sofa or bed. Or the cover flops in the back. Etc. And some are just huge.
