iPad 2 Announcement Today!!

He never said that they were for the Ipad 2 alone. He just said the amount of apps that are available for Ipad Users are 65,000.

Frankly I really dont get the hatred thrown at Apple or people that like apple products.

But that's misleading because there's thousands of android apps that work on the android tablets just fine, and honeycomb was JUST released about 2 weeks ago. The comparison is highly flawed, that's all

I'm ready to buy!!! I love Apple.....and I love the fact that all my products sync together----ipod, iphone, imac, ipad!

What are the chances of really being able to get my hands on one on March 11th? I want to take it on my cruise and we leave March 12th!

I just can't stomach the idea of buying technology that will become "old school" in two years. I suppose I will have to someday, but that Best Buy commercial is so me. We don't even HAVE a smartphone.

For me the good news is it should push down the price of the old ones. However the lack of Flash kind of bothers me... I doubt I can play CityVille. I assume the Farmville App is still available. Also, I have to use a Java program for work...I do not think it runs Java either, another strike against the iPad. If they come up with a tablet, or make those available for iPad, I would definitely have more use for one. As it is, they look like a cool toy I would like to have if it is cheap enough, but there are things they need to be capable of doing before I spend a lot of money on one.

Technology is like cars....the minute you take it "off the lot"-- it starts to lose its value. I resisted the iPad for about 6 months because I knew the iPad2 was coming...now it's here and there is already talk of iPad3. At some point, I just have to jump in.....
