Ionithermie Detox at Spa?? Anyone done it??

I am thinking about treating myself to the ionithermie algae detox treatment at the spa. Anyone done it?? Does it really work?? I have tried to lose some weight before this cruise, was wanting to lose 60 lbs. but only managed 20. I heard this helps with a slow metabolism and you can lose inches even after returning home. Is this true??

Also I am a spa virgin - anything I need to know before doing this? DH and I are doing the couple's massage for the REAS pkg. also.

I have done this before, and it worked but for me the inches did not stay off. It still is a wonderful treament to spoil yourself with though, and if you are on a seven day cruise, you could get two treatments in. I only did one. The girl that measured me said i lost a total of nine inches.
