How long does it take to do IOA if you stay at an onside resort and have a fast pass card?

How long does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? :)

Are you going to "do" every attraction? Will you repeat attractions? Are you going to do much shopping? Are you planning on eating any meals there? Are you running from attraction to attraction with a goal of getting out as quickly as possible? It's a tough one to answer that really depends on what your strategy is.

We only repeat a few attractions like we did MIB twice at US but that was it. I wanted to start at about 11:00 and be done at 5:30. We would only have a small lunch.

Even with the FOTL it matters what time of the year and how busy the parks are.

You could probably get most of the biggies in - but probably not include any shows.

Plus we need to know what time of the year you're going.
People ask a 1 sentence question, and the answer involves many variables.
There is 1 big show at IOA, The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad. There's a kid sing-a-long in Suess Landing, and if you wanna count the Triceratops encounter as a show, I guess you could. I think the people forgot you we're talking about IOA. Over at USF, there are many shows and you need an entire day to see them all.

Back to your arrival time, 11am is the worst time to arrive. That's when everyone is showing up, just like you wanna do. Sure, you have FOTL, but at noon, the park will be packed. I'd really suggest you arrive at 9am when the park first opens, take a lap around the park, and at noon, you'll notice it's full and you'll have to dodge people in the walkways. That's when you can use FOTL to get a few more rides then come back to your room for a rest.

Yes, coming in at opening is a MUST! Be there early, get a quick ride (or two) on Spiderman, or even Dr. Doom. Hulk won't be open yet, but you will see them testing.

From there you can go to Toon Lagoon, but it may be too early and cold to be totally wet. You could get that later, especially if you are onsite.

You can do Jurassic Park area. My kids/family could at least spend an hour there. If you want to do Pternadon Flyers , you do need to go early. The river adventure is very cool, but not too drenchy. , from there you can do Lost Continent. THe Poseidon show doesn't start until what? maybe 10:30/11? (I'm going on old information!) , so you can still do Dueling Dragons/Flying Unicorn ... There it is lunchtime.. MYTHOS...

But if you don't have time for MYTHOS, I'm sure there are other things available. then you could go to Suess Landing and do the stuff there.
I love Islands of Adventure, and it takes more than a day for our family.

They wont let you into IOA if both Seuss and Marvel sides are both aren't fully operational, unless something's having technical difficulties.

Posideon's Fury generally starts at around 10:00 or 11, although it can open earlier or later depending on the time of year.
