Anyone with experience on a touring plan for offsite visitors? DD10 and I will be visiting Jul 31 and Aug 1. We know to get there an hour early and to head to Harry Potter first. I kind of would like to do Ollivander's but don't want it to mess up the waits for the rest of the day. The express pass is $50 extra per person - is it really imperative that I get this?

Thanks!

You can't use the express pass into HP, except flight of the hippogriff. We showed up an hour early to get in and got on FJ in 45 minutes. However, Ollivander's line never got smaller than 45 minutes all day. We deemed it not worth it. If the crowds are crazy, and you want to do IOA and US, get the express pass. It was totally worth it for us!

And Dragon Challenge. Only Forbidden Journey in WWoHP does not accept Express.

For the time you are going it is going to be extremely busy and like others said FJ at WWOHP does not have a express line
so it is really up to you if you want express passes and your going to do only potter or all or some of IOA :thumbsup2

We go during busy times and never get the express pass. One idea is that you could go early to WWoHP two days in a row and hit up Forbidden Journey first thing the first day and Ollivander's the second if necessary. The only problem with that is that other attractions will also back up so it depends on what you wish to see. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit also doesn't take the express pass.
