IOA/US and WNW question

I have been to IOA/US many time in the last few years. I am a big fan of the PBH and the parks. However I have never been to Wet & Wild, ( I've never been to the Disney water parks either). I just pulled up a google map and I am surprised they are so close. How long does its take to get to Wet &Wild from the on-Site hotels?
Do they have an on-site shuttle to WNW?
The article I read said that Universal already owned WNW just not the land it sat on. Now that they own the land do you think they will change anything?
I wonder if they will add an options to the AP?

Yup, there is a shuttle but it only runs a few times each day.

I'm thinking there will be some major changes over there.

I read that report of Universal buying the land Wet n Wild sits and after seeing the amount of land included in the purchase all I could think about was that they probably have some plan to buy up some more of the land around Universal blvd and I Drive to give themselves some land for that rumored 3rd park that's supposed to be built by 2018.I see them still having the space for a nicer themed waterpark built next to Cabana Bay,but I just see the purchase of this land as possibly something bigger going on.I could be wrong but at the rate they're expanding and the proximity to the other parks that this land sits on just being on the other side of I-4 you kinda just have to think about it.

I doubt there will be any AP changes this year but you never know.

It's gonna be fun to see what's up their sleeve for that area.
