We are going to Disney in September and would like to depend one day at Universal. Trying to decide which one for my kids (ages 7, 9, 11) who aren't fans of coasters at all! Not HP fans either... TIA

Based on what you've said I'd head to Universal Studios - there are more shows and also as many if not more "non-coaster" rides than at IoA.

That said Diagon Alley could make it really, really busy so I might wait until nearer the time and see what the crowds are like.

We just did three days at Universal...two days at USF and one day at IofA (we did not have a park hopping ticket or express pass). The third day at USF we were with daughter and family including two girls 5 and 9 who are not big coaster fans either. For us, USF was a much better fit. The girls absolutely loved the Animal Actors show, the ET ride, Men in Black, Despicable Me, the Simpsons, etc. Unless you like water rides as there are three of them (and getting soaking wet) there is less to do at I of A unless you are huge Harry Potter fans We also did not care much for Poseidons Fury, which seemed to take a long time and was pretty lame.
