We are arriving on Sunday, May 22nd around 9 am to checkin at RPH and get our FOTL access. Since we are arriving at 9 and probably won't be at the park until 9:30am, I thought it would be better to go to US that day and save IOA for Monday morning when we can take advantage of early entry for WWOHP.

Seems that many posts are suggesting that IOA is the crowded park on a Monday. Should we wake up earlier and do IOA on Sunday and switch our parks days?

Thanks!

I would head to IOA on Sunday with early entry for WWoHP.

We have the same situation. We have one night (a Sunday) at the RPH. Sat. night we will stay 20-30 min from US. I planned to get to RPH and check in as early as possible and then head to US on Sunday. Then in the evening head over to IOA and try to see how the lines are at HP - from what I've read, sometimes the evening is not as crowded. If it is, then we can always hit it at early entry on Monday.

We've never been, so I'm no expert. I just don't think we could get up early enough to get over to the RPH and check in and still make it to early entry on Sunday morning (I have a teenage daughter who takes FOREVER to get ready in the am :)).

I wonder if the crowded mondays are spring break and summer vacation specific like it usually is. I know HP is a game changer but it used to be that in May, Mondays were excellent days to go (not many starting week long vacations this month) and end of year school field trips usually were later in the week, of course I haven't been this year so maybe this May is entirely different?

Totally agree. We will be staying at a Seaworld hotel the night before I thought it would be so much easier arriving on a Sunday at RPH around 9:00am ish and going to US on arriving day and going to IOA EARLY Monday morning. I too have a teenager, oh yea, she's 21 now!!! I think the getting ready only gets worse:scared:
