IOA Marvel Superhero Characters

there are superheroes that have a mini parade each day. they arrive on atv's and do meet and greets w/photo ops after they come to marvel land. my boys loved it as littles and still now.

Will there be a time posted somewhere for the mini parade?? My boys would LOVE this! I don't want to miss it!!

It's not really a parade but a giant meet and greet. It's hard to explain until you see it. :thumbsup2

I found this on the web, I can only assume times change depending on season.

Look for a phone in the walkway to Doom's Fearfall. You can listen to messages that pertain to the superheroes and for some reason Spiderman has run up to us twice while we're there and he is such a fabulous character! I imagine that he goes offstage in that direction but it is nice that he stops to play briefly and that we've been in the right place at the right time a few times.

Also, I've seen Dr. Doom quite a bit more than the Green Goblin. Dr. Doom looks amazing and he is definitely one to catch.

By the way, if your kids like such characters consider meeting whichever robot is out next to Transformers. The excellence of these characters continually amaze us.

Do the Villians come out regularly? My past two trips there, I've only seen the superheros, but would love to get pics and autographs fro the villains

Yes, but the villains just sort of lurk. The way you meet most of the characters at Universal is like what people nostalgically think about with Disney...and everyone I've ever seen in a character lineup has behaved wonderfully. It's pretty neat. And I'm NOT a character person, never have been; I'm just the photographer for DH and DS. :)

Just got really excited about seeing Storm.

She and Rogue meet together, and they are really good. DH meets them every time we go, and is never disappointed by the interaction. (of course, he likes wearing Disney shirts at Universal and Universal shirts at Disney, and that's always a great jumping off point for fun conversation)

If there's a superhero you just *have* to meet, we've had good luck asking an employee about 10 minutes before the show where that character will be standing for photos. DD is all about Captain America, so we always try to get him first.

Last time she talked to Dr. Doom, neither one of them would look at the photographer at first. Apparently he was telling her that a weird lady (the photographer) was following him and kept trying to get him to look at her camera so she could hypnotize him. He told DD she had to resist so she wouldn't be brainwashed. :lmao:

Totally agree!

green goblin came through the shop just to side of spiderman ride last year and he locked onto my 14 year old son for about 4 mins making a show of him it was hilarious and very embarrasing for my son:rotfl:

I'm looking forward to.going back this month, the interaction with the green goblin was amazing! I was taking pics and telling my kids to smile look the same way etc, when he basically said I was bossy shaked his head, and made me have a pic taken,
Where he made me push him around so he could play fight with me,it was amazing! And my boys thought it was brilliant.
