We are thinking about a trip to the area first two weeks of Sept next year and I am thinking about 1 day at Islands of Adventure (we have been before but only to Disney) We are mostly interested in the Harry Potter area but my teen boys love big coasters. We also have a younger sister who will not ride anything that looks like it might go upside down. Husband and I love the big stuff too, but we will split up when we need to, if there are other things in the area for her to do.
What I want to know is one day enough time, especially in Sept? I don't know that much about the park so what are the must do's? I want to have time to wander in the Potter area, not just rush in and out. And I would like for the boys to ride the wild stuff. Do we need 2 days? We are not staying on site.
Also when we go to disney parks we carry a backpack and water bottles. Can we do that at Universal? We need to be able to carry snacks and medical supplies, not lunch food or meals.
Give me your advice (I need all I can get)
