invite to go to Hawaii!!!!!

Thanks for the info.I've been looking on tripadvisor at food places. Uum I dont know what I was thinking but some of the food is very different-lol! I like fish and fruit. Can someone please tell me what moco loco is? It looks like friend eggs on top of rice then gravy on top, is that right???

Can anyone tell me about flying to other islands? What airlines or are the planes private airlines? If we stay just on Kauai will we keep busy for 6 days?
I want to know would it be super expensive to stay another 2 days , we would have to stay at another place since timeshare condo is only for certain amount of days. What other island would be great to stay on?

We stay on Kauai for weeks at a time and never get bored. But, we are swimming and hiking beach people. If you aren't, Oahu or the Big Island may be better suited for you.

If you haven't seen Pearl Harbor, I do think that is a powerful site to see. Very moving and you understand history in a way you can't otherwise. Survivors are there for you to talk to. If you like that type of history, I'd recommend that. Diamond Head is doable for most and cheap. drive to the North Shore and back down the east side of the island. Many inter-island flights will go through Honolulu anyway. I don't like Waikiki at all. It's a city on a beach.

We have been 3 times and never bored...plenty to do and very relaxing but fun...snorkel boat tour of the coast if you can..beautiful

We'll Hawaii has been canceled . The timeshare is booked for the week we want to go. I guess it's booked until 2015! We looked at cabo, st Thomas
San Francisco and a few other places but all booked :/
I'm bummed but the budgeter in me is a lil relieved because airfare alone would have been $2200! Plus cost if food, rental entertainment . I told dh we can start saving now and in 3 1/2 years take dd for graduation .

Relatives plan in booking somewhere closer to home there were a few places open. They were also bummed! But we are still invited to where ever they book. Atleast we will save in airfare. I told dh with many saved we can take a cruise and it's still cheaper than what we would hv paid . Plus we still would hv money saved for savings

I had a feeling - when you said they hadn't booked the timeshare yet and were talking about March. Hawaii can be difficult to get as a timeshare trade, and Kauai one of the hardest islands. You need to plan in advance and be flexible. My sister booked her Christmas trip two years ago.

We never felt with a time share so we had no idea. We were all super bummed but a lil part if me is a lil relieved . I like to prepare inadvance , research and save $$ for vacation.
