Our wedding is 05-22-06. I have had my planning session, picked my flowers, dress, etc. I am so undecided on what to do for invitations. I have looked at many Disney & non Disney Invites, emailed with Jenny @ Sassy CO (she is tied up till after the holidays with work), but am not sure what to do about invitations. I am looking for something unique, keeping with the Disney theming. Anybody have any ideas, websites etc? Thanks for your help!

Shelley from Impressions is WONDERFUL. Her website is http://www.fairytalewedding.com. We ordered our invitations, our programs, place cards, and our wedding announcements from her and everything has been beautiful. As far as invitations go, she has all of the Carlson Craft Disney invites, but she also does custom invitations too. Shelley is really helpful with wording, colors, etc.

Run a google search for Disney Wedding Invitations

If you weren't looking for Disney, we loved working with The American Wedding Album . It's an online store... you can order through catalog or phone, too. They were very easy to work with, prompt, and everything looked gorgeous. One of the best vendors for Disney invitations I have seen was Cinderella's Wedding World

It's really a matter of personal taste. We stayed away from the Disney invitations. But that's becuase we wanted a wedding AT Disney and not a Disney wedding. Just a reminder that invitations in themselves are a lot of work. We got ones that I had to tie bows on. It sucked. Majorly.

Also, if you can budget for it, take a look at hiring a calligrapher. It eases your work and you know the invitations arrive looking extra special. We loved Harvest's work at Acorn Arts. She's absolutely spectacular! We had so many guests comment on how beautiful they looked. We chose the Spencerian calligraphy with the large flourish letter and silver embellishments (like the right top column).

xoxo

impressions with fairytalewedding.com or now&forever both carry disney invites & products. i bought mickey envelope seals from now&forever for our save the dates.

as for wedding invitations we went with non disney, a gazebo & floral themed invitation (were getting married at the yc gazebo) from alltheinvitations.com

It really depends where you are having your wedding - near me i have a company who makes invitations however you want them. You can take a pic of the wedding pavillion for example and have the pic embossed into the paper so the invitation is plain white - gold writting etc. They pretty much do anything you want. Im sure you may have somewhere near you like this!

I LOVE working with Jenny. She actually made my first set of invitations. She overnighted mine, and they were adorable. We are going with a different set as this is a year later, and I'm not sure what our guests would think if we sent invitations that looked exactly the same! Ours were the Mickey and Minnie invitations, it even has our exact wording on her sample page.

absolutely! I was e-mailing her daily, sometimes multiple times too! I was actually kind of sad when the invites had gone out b/c I didn't have to e-mail her anymore. LOL

Her custom invites are gorgeous! Since she has Disney licensing, you could pretty much let your imagination run wild! :) We couldn't do all custom b/c it's pretty pricey, though. She will send you samples! good luck!

I agree with the others about Shelley from Impressions. I have been talking to her via email and she seems great so far! She is sending me some samples soon and I can't wait to see them. The invitations on her website are beautiful!

I have seen some gorgeous invites @ www.whiteaisle.com I think you can order per invite at around $5 each....they are not disney themed though! If you want a disney theme then i think impressions or saasy co is the way to go!
