Invitations are going out!

Just wanted to tell someone, anyone, that we are sending out our invitations this weekend! We just finished printed, cutting, stuffing, licking, stamping and we are exhausted...I mean excited! I can't belive how fast this is all going. I am having waaaayyy to much fun with this!

I just read a post about the after wedding blues, I am sad already. This has been so much fun for us.

Thats so great!! I was really excited when we sent ours out, and got even more excited when we started getting the reply cards back! I keep wanting to extend out WDW Honeymoon because I know I won't want it to end, but more days is not within our budget. Oh well, it will be great fun while it lasts.

It was me with the after Wedding Blues, I just want to tell you to really enjoy every min. of planning and your Wedding Day. I can still remember the feelings I had when our invitations went out, I had the BEST time planning and then the Wedding Day was the most PERFECT day of my life. We were married on May 2nd at the WP and Grand Floridan and we just received our proofs in the mail last week, looking at them is bringing all the feelings back.
I can't wait to get our video.
One piece of advice that I received and took was on your Wedding Day just step back every so often and take it all in, I took my friends advice and it really helped me to enjoy every moment and I didn't feel like I missed anything.

I'm soooo looking forward to hearing about your wedding and am excited for you.

Jo's right make sure you enjoy yourself at the wedding I took my camera and made sure I took some shots so that I had them to look at after the wedding without having to wait for other photos to be processed.

Thanks for all of the great advice. I am going to bring a camera with me, did not think of that before, but it will be a great way to capture the wedding from "my" point of view.

A lot of people tell me the same, to step back and watch everything and take it all in. I am going to try hard to do that. I want to remember and feel the great feeling when I look back afterwards.

Congratulations to you married folk, you are an inspiration to the rest of us trucking along to our big days and this board has been great!

SAM! I never got to post a congratulations to you! I remember looking at the calendar and thinking, she is doing it today! All my best to you and your new Hubby!

I am getting married the day before you, Sept. 17, at the Wilderness Lodge... I can't wait, I am sooooooo excited !

Who knows maybe we will run into each other...LOL

Good Luck to all the brides!!.. My daughter is getting married next May and we are trying to decide how far in advance the invitations should go out. If my math is correct you are sending yours out around 10 weeks before the wedding. Is that about the average time? Just trying to get a handle on what is in store for us.

Yup 8/10 weeks is pretty norm sometimes longer for a destination wedding.

I need details! What time is your wedding on the 17th?! We actually have a bunch of people staying at the WL and if your wedding does not fall in the same time frame as our Rehearsal and Welcome Party I would love to come and snoop and wish you well!

What are you doing the next day? Staying in Disney? If so PLEASE come into Epcot and stop by our Illuminations Desert Party! Meranda from the boards is getting married the same day as me. I think it would be so great for all of the couples marrying that weekend to meet up for a few minutes som time during the trip!

My wedding is at 11:00 am....so if you are around the lodge by all means snoop !!!! After the wedding our families are going to meet up at typhoon lagoon and then later that night we are having a cocktail hour and dinner at Fulton's.

We will be in Disney until the 24th....we will definately make an effort to swing through epcot for your illuminations dessert party! That would be so great to get to meet the other disney brides that I have been talking with on the boards !!!!!

I just can't wait....I am getting soooooo excited !!!!!!
