So, a ton of rooms opened up at certain resorts in June and July -- specifically BRV, CCV, BLT, and BWV.

Any thoughts on this? Mass cancellations, inventory that wasn't appearing when it should be, or a system glitch?

The question is how do we know it was a ton of rooms vs. just a few?

But, the rules go back to normal May 1st for borrowed points and holding. So, it’s very possible it’s cancelations from people who wanted to take advantage of those,

For July nights, the holding piece wouldn’t matter, but the return of borrowed points would!

ETA: Thank for posting because I was just able to get a 1 bedroom at BLT to replace my two Poly studios for two nights in June. It was the only one!

I know it may not be a "ton" of rooms in each resort, but it was several nights showing up all at once all over the place and struck me as odd (particularly with the system glitch this morning).

I was just wondering if you had not only seen or had talked to MS who said it was several! They will tell you since they can see how many vs, us!

Ya, the July inventory looked very plentiful. I'm looking for mid-June so still limited, but we were able to get a studio at BRV for 4 nights.

Unfortunately, they didn't seem to open up for our June dates, but we do have a waitlists for BCV and BWV for those dates, so maybe we will wake up tomorrow and have one of them come through....lol

Hopefully not a repeat of the VGC glitch that happened at the beginning of the month. It took over a week of pausing all reservations for VGC to clean that one up.

That is unfortunate, sorry to hear it, but I guess that explains some of the inventory.....

Following what happened with VGC inventory, and that similar things have happened in the past where inventory has opened up but didn't actually exist it's a bit concerning. However, maybe they had found that they had pulled too much over for exchanges and returned it now. Hopefully that's it or something similar.

I canceled for summer also. Beach Club, BW.

Not doing masks and heat and it's time to lock in camp schedules and all the other moving pieces.

All the Canadians probably cancelled since they have to jump through a lot of hoops to get back to Canada.
