Hello everyone, this is my first post and I just wanted to "pop" in to say hello. :wave2:

I have been lurking for awhile and finally decided to make myself known to the DIS world! :cool1:

I have been going to Disneyland since I was born (actually in utero as well :rotfl: ) and after a brief DL absence due to college and life, I have returned full force now. I guess growing up makes you want to be a kid again. I am lucky to have a DBF who love Disney too, although not quite as much as me. We've been pass holders for a the last two years (although we both have had them before) and just yesterday I got him to agree to our first WDW trip together.
:woohoo:

Well, that's it for my introduction. :dance3: I look forward to "talking" with everyone!

Welcome KrazyKat4DIS!!! This board is great. If you have been a DL vet for some time, you may be able to help others. Don't hesitate to add your 2 cents worth on topics. We're glad you're here!!!

Thanks Husker for the hello. I'd love to give some tips whenever it's needed.

As for now, I am still trying to figure this DIS thing out. I know it's a silly question, but can someone tell me how to subscribe to a thread :confused3 I am a little lost here...

When you reply (using Quote) to a post or start a new post, scroll down the page to where it says Additional Options, then Thread Subscription, then select Instant E-mail Notification.

And welcome, my fellow Los Angeles resident!!:goodvibes

Thanks for the help Sherry!

Welcome out of lurking. Next stop is addiction. hehe

If you look up a little bit on the page, right above your first post on this thread, click "thread tools" and then "subscribe."

ETA: oops, SherryE posted while I was on the phone and not hitting save. LOL I subscribe without getting the email notification (floods my mail box!), so I'll leave this up for you as an optional method, KrazyKat4DIS.

Welcome! You are so lucky to live so close to the Magic!!! I keep trying to convince DH to move, but no luck yet!!! and I emphasize yet!

I have to agree with this post. We are about 1200 miles away and would go more often, even if it were 6 hours away, but not so. Tried to find work in the area but it is impossible.

WELCOME

So true. :rotfl:

From one who began her love of DL in utero to another, welcome. Unlike you, it took me going to college in So. Cal. to continue my slightly unhealthy love affair with the park (my break came when my parents moved up north when I was in middle school).

Welcome to the DIS, jump on in! This is a great place to hang out. AND get great trip planning tips, even for seasoned Disney trip'rs. :wizard:

You're right, Disney Dreams. I completely forgot about the Thread Tools route to subscribe to a thread because I was looking at the other way I explained - the Thread Subscription options - underneath my Reply box when I was typing, so that was instantly what sprang to mind. But yes, good point - you can do it the way you explained too, and that may be a better way to go about it.
