I think your tree is pretty, but I think everyone who gets a real tree (myself included) is always looking for a perfectly shaped tree. Like the shape of an artificial tree.

So you have never seen our branch tree after DH has set it up. He always has a branch or two that "did not fit" and he also mixes up the larger and smaller branchs of the same color. Large on the top and smaller on the bottom. Thankfully this is our animal tree, so all "imperfections" can be hidden by a large stuffed animal.

ETA: This tree is a full 9' tree. It is hard to miss those branches at the top that are 2 feet longer than all the others!!

I think it looks fine.

Now my grandparents on the other hand have one of the ugliest trees I have ever seen. It's fake and plastic with very skinny thin branches. It looks like basically a tree trunk with some skinny dowels.

Your tree is Beautiful. Whenever we have bought real trees we always seem to be drawn to the ones that are "imperfect" and need love. My tag fits me to a tee because we are nuts and don't want to see ugly trees left behind because they can be made beautiful once they are decorated.

Put icicles (tinsel) on it. Icicles always make a tree look nice.

Not ugly, just a little bare. When all else fails, add more lights and tinsel!
