**Introduce yourself!!!**

Hiya Becky, I'm not sure if I'm replying right as this is my first time! I live in Flintshire North Wales with my husband and two daughters ages 4 & 6. We have our first visit to DLP in March, I'm so nervous and worried that I might mess things up. I'm trying to find a friendly person that can give me advice to prepare us for a trip. Can you help? I have tried to read up on as much info as possible, but I have so many questions! Any tips advice will much be appreciated. Lorraine

:wave2: Hi Lorraine!
Welcome! Everyone is very friendly here, and I've got so much great info, advice and tips.
We are also going for our first trip in March.

Ask away with all your Q's - just start a new thread for them :)

Hello Lorraine, nice to "meet" you :) Don't worry - even if you haven't done much planning you can still have a great time at Disneyland Paris :cloud9: But we're all here to help with any questions you have - so ask away! :thumbsup2

Hiya Bexx,
You live really close to me, I'm from Bagillt in Flintshire. My girls have no
idea about this trip as it is my eldest wildest dreams come true, and to be
honest we have never been abroad as a family, never been able to afford it.
I am truly looking forward to it, but worried that we will miss the most important things!
Well, I will continue to research and hope people will keep sending me tips and advice. By the way we are staying at the Santa Fe Hotel for 5 days March 6th to 10th.
Thanks
Lorraine

We're not far apart, are we!! I've just put you on the "When everyone is going to DLP" list - if that's okay! As you've got five days to enjoy, your very unlikely to miss any of the important things ;)

Thanks for being sooo helpful, I'm really looking forward to using these chat boards. Did you go to the Wild West show? Our package price included character breakfast with an hour in the Park before it opens to the public. Is this one the same as booking a character meal? Is there anything else you would recommend booking?
Lorraine :rotfl:

thought it would be good to bump this thread since there have been a few of us newbies recently!
:goodvibes

My mum is Japanese, dad English, went to DL Tokyo about 12 years ago, and fell in love with 'it's a small world', can't wait to go on it again. Was crying like a baby on space mountain in DLT, but hoping to conquer it when we go dlp!:rotfl:
Converted to Islam 6 years ago, love my family lots n lots, and thats a brief summary of me!:cheer2:

Welcome Eemaan, I fly out on Tuesday and return Saturday night, if I can help you in anyway or pass on all my research I have collected these last few months, and then I'm happy to do so.

Everyone are so helpful here, don't be afraid to ask any questions no matter how stupid they sound (that comes from experience!)

Wow, what a thread, is this one of the longest ever?

Anywho. My name is Chris (Crim to my friends, not sure why) I am married to Debbie and we are both huge disney fans. People visiting our house regularly ask how any children weve got and that they must love Disney. As the house is full of pictures, ornaments, etc. We smile and tell them we have no children.

Debbie visited WDW in 1995, then took me in 2003 for our belated honeymoon (2 years late). We returned last year with my Mum, Dad, Sister, BIL and three princess neices.

Currently planning our first trip to DLP, with Sister and Co. they have been twice before and have just about won me round to the idea that it can be as magical as WDW.

Can't wait for November to get some Disney Christmas magic.

Great thread.

Love to all

Crim

Hi Everyone

I have been about this board for a couple of months now so I thought it was time to introduce myself.

I am Tracy (36) married Rodney(39) with 2 beautiful sons Jacob(4)and McAuley (nearly 7).I live in Northern Ireland and work as a catering manager. When I am not working I am sitting in front of my beloved pooter :surfweb:

We went to D.L.P. for the first time in January 07.Santa kindly left the trip for us on Christmas morning :rolleyes1
I have always said that because I never got to go to any Disney park when I was young, when I had kids I would take them so they would not miss out.

We had an absolute ball even my rather dubious hubby enjoyed himself and agreed that no one does it like Disney. My boys talk about it nearly every day,wee Jacob asks on a frequent basis "Are we for Disneyland Paris today?"

Jacob's favourite ride was Big Thunder Mountain...we did it 8 times and McAuley's favourite was Rock and Roller Coaster, he rode it 7 times.

I said before we went that this would be a one off trip and couldn't understand all these folks who went back lots of times. But I have been bitten by the bug too,I want to go back NOW.
I want to go back and do Crush's Coaster,TOT and the new Cars ride,I just have to wait for Mac to grow another 6 cms and then me and him can do Indiana Jones..I didn't want to go on it by myself.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Colleen and I live in Southern California. We live near Disneyland and try to go as often as we can.

My daughter (21) and I have been to WDW once and done the Disney Cruise twice. I work for Disney Studios and my daughter is in college and hopes one day to work in their marketing department.

We are really looking forward to seeing DLP! We are going in July of this year and are in countdown mode

Thanks for all the great information on this board. I am slowly reading through it and taking notes so that I don't miss anything while in DLP!

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm married with a 13 month old son who is just learning to walk on his own. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats paw: I'm an American living in Switzerland and we are heading to DLP for the first time ever next month and staying at the Explorer's.

I've been to WDW countless times - way too many to even list and I worked at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom for the WDW College Program Spring 1995 (wow, a long time ago!).

DH and I went to DLC a few years ago and we're excited to see what DLP is like. We will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary  while at DLP and we hope that our son enjoys Disney as much as we do. :tink: I can't wait to get him his first set of ears. :earsboy:

I was thrilled to find this site and there is so much useful information! I'm disappointed that Crush will not be open in April but maybe we'll consider an AP and we'll just have to go back after June :cool1:

If I ever figure out how to post a picture I will :upsidedow
