She is beautiful isn't she ? I always enjoy seeing her in BriarFox's signature Now about the couch I never even attempted to keep this crew off furniture One or two I even had to let them know it was okay

I remember when my aunt & uncle brought their last dog home They weren't even out of the car when my aunt was saying " He will not go on my couch " Yeah right the little cutie has the run of the house ( not in a bad way ) especially since my uncle passed away Sparky sleeps in the bed with her too I'll have to dig up some pictures soon

I don't think I have any pics of Jax on the computer. We brought him home in early November. He's a black lab with some springer in him. He's maxed out at 35 pounds He's like a mini lab with a curly tail and soft, shiny fur. Love my Jax. Even after he jumped into my brothers pool yesterday. My brother doesn't keep his pool up during the winter so it was like swamp water. We poured about 8 bags of shock in there and cleaned some of the funk from the bottom so it wasn't black water, more like greenish brown. Still not safe for humans or dogs. But he HAD to go swimming. The good thing is that I had him groomed last week so his hair is super short (I'm not a fan of black hair all over my house). My sister in law, daughter and nephew hosed Jax off and gave him a very short bath so that he didn't have to stay outside.
I'll have to try to find a picture of my man He's so awesome. He and my Evie girl are best friends and they sleep cuddled up next to each other every night.

We really didn't even try. When DH is out of town she and our black lab both sleep on his side of the bed. If DH and I are both gone they sleep with DS. I feel pretty safe with two big dogs roaming the house at night. I have to say though that we did crate Tikka for several months until I could trust her not to get into trouble at night (chewing and stuff).

Took my old man out to the pasture today. It's his happy place!! He's 13 now and has some health issues. Half blind, mostly deaf but still seems to be happy most of the time.

Thanks!! We love him!! I hate that we don't have much time left with him....hoping for a year but honestly it's probably 6 months. But we are making the best of every day we have with our sweet boy!

Its so sad thinking about when their time will come to an end. I get teary eyed every time I think about it. Enjoy every moment with your sweet furry little angel. And give him lots of snuggles! My dog isnt always in the mood for cuddles, but i dont care. I make him participate anyway.

Right! It's been 7 years since I lost my sweet Cody and I still miss her all the time. I've been giving Griffey extra treats (but he's lost weight so he really needs them) and trying to give him lots of extra attention. Thankfully I'm home now all day so he gets lots of love!

Right! It's been 7 years since I lost my sweet Cody and I still miss her all the time. I've been giving Griffey extra treats (but he's lost weight so he really needs them) and trying to give him lots of extra attention. Thankfully I'm home now all day so he gets lots of love!

Aww your such a good doggie mummy. Im sure Griffey appreciates it.

We call her our narcoleptic dog. She has lots of energy and loves to play - then she'll just flop down and is out like a light!

Your picture of "Weiner" made be think of a local cafe/coffee house. The owner is a very sweet guy that had an adorable dachshund for many years. He renamed the restaurant the "Red Weiner Cantina" when she passed.
