It's been a while since we've had a good pet thread.

I have a new baby to introduce, and I know there are others who do, also.

Meet Duffy. He is a 16 week old Cairn Terrier who joined our household less than two weeks ago.

I know this will probably surprise people since I've always had German Shepherds. I still have my German Shepherd but she has myelopathy. :sad1: Good news is that she's still healthy and happy and enjoying the little guy.

At night she pulls herself over to his crate so she can sleep next to him. (So proud of my girl! :love2: )

So let's see yours!

We lost our 14 1/2 year old yellow lab in early December. Our family was so lost, that we decided to get this little guy WAY earlier than we planned. We got Abner, another yellow lab, in January at 7 weeks. This picture was taken on St. Patrick's Day. He's now 15 weeks and already at about 30 lbs. He's going to be a beast!

Thought this was hilarious but i put a hug pillow on my dog's napping area and he fell asleep standing up while leaning on the hug pillow...

I have (4) week and a half old Kom puppies. Don't know which one we are keeping yet though.

In January we lost our 5 year old miniature schnauzer suddenly and welcomed this guy into our house about a month later. Way faster then I thought but he has been wonderful.

This is Bentley our now 14 week old Maltese mix (Lhasa Apso & maltese)

And here he is with Oliver our 4 year old miniature schnauzer

This is Sneakers. She is almost 11 weeks old now. She spends her days napping and then running around the house like a rocket. It has been 7 years since my last cat died and it is nice to have a pet again. The kids love her.

Here is our Molly, she will be 14 in July. This picture is a few years old, but she still looks the same. Trying to talk mom into a rescue of varying breeds as a companion for Molly. Not too young, but not a senior either. Mom is a senior and is resisting. I don't want her to be totally alone when the inevitable happens. Luckily Molly is still a very chipper girl. Loves stealing things from my room. And shredding any kleenex she can get her paws on.

Yes, very surprised! Not a shepherd figured it was a new hammy! Duffy, you are a beautiful boy - welcome and congrats! :goodvibes

Congrats on the new baby and I am shocked it's not a GSD!! But sooo cute!!

Here are some semi recent pics of some of the bunch...

Here are the boy dogs....Jonas the Border Collie/Corgi mix on the bed..and my sweet 13 year old Griffey on the floor. Griffey is dealing with some medical issues and we don't know how much longer he'll be around but for now he seems happy and pain free so we will take it one day at a time until he's no longer happy and pain free.

Not exactly "pets" but since they hardly ever get ridden and just suck up my money I count them as pets lol. This was over Christmas break, my daughter's boyfriend was over and wanted to ride. Thankfully my boys are so good that I can toss people on them and they are fine.

Here's my oldest daughter and our youngest dog. Australian Kelpie mix that we got from the shelter two years ago. Cute and sweet little dog...but stubborn and ocd about tennis balls.

Here's the latest stray to become a family member....my sweet Oliver...started as a scrawny little stray and now is just beautiful. Best part about him is that while the dogs love my husband best...this one loves me the most!! :rolleyes1 Oh..and another thing...he is a GREAT mouser!!
