Introduce-a-Friend to Disney Vacation Club

I must I'm a bit underwhelmed by the "replacement" for the referral program. It looks like there is a web site you can send friends to to have DVC market to them and in return you get... nothing.

I love how the web site has a section called: Why Introduce Friends and Family to Disney Vacation Club? and goes on to say why DVC is good for the potential member and does not answer the question at all.

I used to get excited to tell people about the club. Now I will tel them if they ask, but really it now makes me feel too much like doing their work for them. More members doesn't really enhance my membership.

I'll tell them how great resale can be, but that would be the case with or without a good referral program. I like my friends too much to steer them to direct.
