Hi everyone,
Me and my DP are heading off on our first trip to DLP on Oct 1st for 4 days with our 2 girls. Our youngest DD just came through surgery last month, (she had a third of her lung removed) so for her 3rd b'day we decided to push the boat out and take her and her big sis (6)to the best place in the world to have a birthday! And the fun part of it is that we're not going to tell them until we're heading off to the airport. How I've managed to keep quiet this long is beyond me!
So far I have found this board such a fantastic tool! Thank you so much to everyone who finds the time to post such detailed, non-biased reviews. Definitely has assisted me in planning our itinerary, where to go and where to avoid. But I still have a couple of questions that maybe someone could help me with...and forgive me for this cause I know it's been to done to death. But an AP question! Because both of our 2 DD's will be under 7, it would be such a financial saver for us if we could get the free AP passes. I know the deal ends on 30/9, we'll miss it by a day. Is there any way of us ordering our 2 Adult passes (Fantasy) and getting the kids ones free over the telephone before the deadline? Somebody mentioned getting temporary ones and then exchanging them on the day. Would this be something we could do?
Secondly, I know my youngest is just going to love Fantasyland, and her sister will probably get caught up in the rapture of it. But regarding rollercoasters..my eldest loves a LITTLE thrill and a bit of speed, but I know some of the rollercoasters would be too wild for her. Is there any kind of middle-of-the -road rides/coasters that will seperate her from the toddlers but not too excessive on the speed or the up-side down thingys? (I will have my feet firmly planted on the ground and she'll be going on with DP)
I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions, but for now I'll finish this essay and thanks for reading so far! Jackie, Dublin
