Intrawest sanddestin

Has anyone ever stayed at Intrawest sanddestin? We have reservations for June 29- July 5 our first choice was vero beach, but could not get a room. For the past three years we have gone to disney in the fall, and this year I got a 160 pts at ssr to go along with the 194 pts my mother inlaw has and would like to start staying one week at vero around the 4th, and week in the fall at ssr. Any suggestions?

We have not been to Sandestin, however I have been to Destin Beach. Before I went to the Carribean I thought that Destin was the most gorgeous place on earth. The water is crystal clear, calm, and beautiful white sand. If you like the beach you will love this place. I have been looking into this aswell. We are going to Aruba in November, and possibly Sandestin next year. We are hoping to split our points each year, 1 trip to Disney, and one somewhere else. My biggest question when researching Sandestin was that it seems to be on a bay, and I am not sure how far it is to the beach on the Gulf. Any ideas?
