HI! I've been a lurker for a real long time but never felt comfortable jumping in anywhere so I am making the plunge! I'm planning a 21st birthday trip for march so I have to start getting into the thick of things.

:welcome: I'm glad you decided to join the party! party: I, too, was a little intimidated to post when I first joined. The more you post, the easier it gets. I hope you get a lot of great info to plan an awesome 21st birthday trip! If you have time, feel free to join in on the various games on the Theme Parks community board (a sub-forum of the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies board). Happy posting!

Glad you took the plunge and joined us.....
No reason to be intimidated we are really a fun bunch:)

Any questions just ask.......

I guess I'm mostly intimidated by the post counts in the thousands. Quite a lot in comparison to my measly amount. I've definitely found so much info on these boards that I will happily use during my trip.

i know what you mean merrydeath there are some people with a LOT of experience on here, but the good thing about that is they can help us out a LOT too!

Welcome! :) Don't feel initimated at all... there are just so many great people on here with or without lots of posts - and lots of good information shared. No one person knows it all, so it's great to be able to learn about other folks' experiences. Enjoy reading the various boards, and getting more information about the awesome Disney parks and resorts. Both WDW and DL have a lot of fun to offer. My guess is that since you're from CA you're talking about a first visit to WDW... (but your ticker says "til Disneyland" so I'm not sure). Either way you'll have a lot of fun. WDW is of course a whole lot larger than DLR since DLR is about 500 acres or so and WDW is more like 27,000 or about the size of San Francisco with many more offerings than Walt's original Magic Kingdom when you consider the 2 parks and 3 hotels of DL to WDW's 4 parks, 2 water parks, 1 huge sports complex, 22 hotels and the vast array of recreational activities. That alone can be intimidating. But relax and enjoy. Wherever you go in March...have a great trip!! :thumbsup2

Welcome. The intimidation will go away. I started that way myself. Afraid to take the plunge and speak up in a conversation. Now I can't always shut up. :rotfl:

It's amazing- once you start posting, it becomes addictive and your post number will go up quickly!

We all started with a low count. We all started at 1. We had to jump in sometime. Before long you will have tons of posts and be an expert and will be able to answer questions like a pro.

Glad you took the plunge

Welcome!!:cheer2: My birthday's in March, too (except I ain't even CLOSE to 21 anymore :lmao: :lmao: )!! Happy Birthday to us and glad you joined the Boards.
