Hello,
Has anyone had an Intimate wedding at Disney for under $5,000? And if so, where did you have the wedding, and what did you do after?:goodvibes I need some detailspopcorn::
Thanks,
Brooke

The base is 4k with no upgrades and you don't need any really. Maybe add on a few extra dollars to have enough chmapagne for everyone for a toast since only 1 bottle is included. Don't forget to include the cost of the officiant and marriage license since that is not included. You can get married at SeaBreeze Point, Yacht Club Gazebo, Polynesian Beach, Wilderness lodge terrace.

How many guests do you plan on having? You could probably have a dinner with your guests at one of the cheaper Disney restaurants after- just book your own reservation or go offsite. There is a lot to do in Orlando.

Thanks for your help. Probably planning on under 18 guests. I was thinking of having it at one of the locations you mentioned, but wasn't sure what to do after, since there aren't that many people. Maybe eat at the california Grill or somethin.
Thanks!

There was another DisBride that had their reception at California Grill. It looked beautiful. I beleive her name was JaxTeach or something along those lines. I know Jax was in it. She we to Disnyland Paris for her honeymoon and her signature has a picture of Lumiere in it.

We went to 1900 Park Faire for a fun dinner after our wedding at Sunset Pointe. I think you could just plan a meal at whatever favorite restaurant that you know of in Disney.

Were having an escape and doing it under 5000. Our upgrades were 475 dollars. That doesn't include all of your vendors though so keep that in mind.

Oh we are eating at the grand floridian cafe after the wedding.

Whether or not you can keep it under $5000 depends in large part what you're counting in that total.

-$4000 to Disney
-$100+ license
-$175+ officiant
-$300+ hotel room (if you do a value resort for the four nights)
Total: $4575. These are pretty non-negotiable.

One way to keep food costs down might be to try a buffet (Ohana seems popular). If you can keep it to $30 per person, then with twenty people you could get away with about $600 (obviously alcohol/tax could make that go up, guest count could make it go down).

Then, there's makeup and formal wear, plus any extras like additional flowers, additional photography/videography, and things like favours/cake upgrades/champagne/guest book/unity candle, etc.

As you can see, whether or not you're able to do $5000 really does depend on what you're counting.

Good luck!
