I once read a post by a lady here who had her ceremony in one of the Garden Suite's at Boardwalk. She said she had planned to do the ceremony in the garden but due to rain did it indoors. She made her grand entrance by coming down the stairs. She had Disney cater the event even though it wasn't officially a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding.
That might be something different to look into.
I have actually considered renting one of these rooms for the day of our vow renewal. Then have lunch/dinner catered there between our wedding pavillion ceremony and our Epcot Illuminations Dessert Party. It would give some of my elderly guest a chance to relax and recoup. Also Boardwalk is near where we enter for our Dessert Party so we won't have to worry about transportation to our event.
You said your sister is doing the big wedding so you can't. If you can afford a custom you could do a ceremony in Epcot or one of the other numerous options other than the wedding pavillion. It would still be different from your sister's wedding.
If you are not set on a DFTW, I have seen the website for an Orlando Location that does theme parties that actually looks really neat and much cheaper than the Disney weddings. If I wasn't set on a DFTW, I would check them out more. I don't know the name of the place, but maybe someone else on here will.
