Intimate wedding/dinnner reception

I am about to scream and cry all at the same time and I am hoping some one can help me. I am looking for a place to hold a lunch or dinner reception after our intimate wedding cermony. I am going to be wearing a tea-length wedding gown w/ a blusher veil and he will be wearing a suit.
I have had alot of conflicting comments on what I can and cant do. I know I can not wear my gown into the park, But can I wear it into a resort hotel? I am looking for a resturant w/ a semi private or a private room for about 15-20 pl. I talked to a women at Fultons Crab house and she told me that they have a room that I could rent for 2000, I have also heard that Bongos has a room. I was wondering if anyone has any info that can help me? I have never been to WDW and am planning this all over the internet and phone. I have heard good things about California Grill, but I dont know if I can wear my dress there?
Any advice would be of great help!

We're going to be doing an Intimate in 2-3 years and are toying around with the idea of renting the Jiko Wine Room in the early afternoon. We're also planning on a casual wedding (sundress for me), so I haven't had to think about the dress part.

What time of the day is your wedding?

If it's during the day, I'd suggest lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. They can set up a semi-private area in teh rear of the restautant. It's a beautiful, elegant setting and isn't going to break your budget. You can wear your dress if you are dining in a resort hotel immediately after your wedding.

I'd speak to the wedding consultant, they will be able to give you the best advice.

That was my thought also!!! I'll be planning my vow renewal in a few years so I've been giving this stuff some thought!!!

Would the Garden View Lounge do anything for an intimate luncheon? That would be very nice.

I like the idea of the Grand Floridian Cafe and I also was going to mention Citricos. You could also see what's available at the Yacht Club/Beach Club. Do you have a wedding coordinator you're working with? He/she should be able to give you a list of restaurants as well as go over dress code regulations.

If you are having an evening ceremony and are willing to spring for a really lovely dinner, you couldn't beat Victoria & Albert's. The dining room has a side area with a fireplace that can pretty much be shut off from the rest of the dining room. I can't think of a more lovely place on WDW property for a wedding celebration.

We're doing Yachtsman after our wedding. They have a seperate area they're setting us up in, and we're having the personalized menus. We went while we were down for our pre-planning in November, and the waiter and manager were SUPER helpful and friendly. I would suggest talking to the manager at which ever resturant you chose, they can make your life sooo much easier.
