Hi All!

I have a quick question regarding post ceremony dinner reservations and the EM I'm working with is out of the office until Friday (and the alternate contact is out til tomorrow!).

My question is: since it is a special group thing should I contact the restaurant directly (I'm planning on Yachtsman Steakhouse) or do I need to wait until the 180 day mark to call 407-WDW-DINE?

Thanks! You guys are awesome and I know I can always count on great advice from you all!!

I called the 407-WDW-Dine number and asked if I could book Ohana's at 7 since my EM won't let me book anything unless it is a first or last seating for dinner and the first seating is at 5 or 5:30 for most restaurants and the last seating is usually 8:30- 9 p.m.This would not work as I am sure the family will be hungry around 6:30- 7 p.m. and they told me I could book 180 day out.

I called Yachtsman directly and worked with the manager (Paul). He was wonderful, and bent over backwards for us. I totally recommend calling him first. Ours was still under the 90 day rule, and we called him at 6 months. He made sure everything was perfect for us. We had actually met him the previous November when we went for our 'planning session', and we told him then what we were planning. He immediatly came to our table with sample menus, and sat and talked with us for several minutes. That's when we got his card, and he said to call him when we were closer. So I'd deffinatly say start there. At least if nothing else they can tell you where to call next.

Melissa
