Intimate Vow Renewal Scheduling Question

DH and I are thinking about renewing our vows on our 5 yr wedding anniversary (together 10 years). If we do it, I want it to be the same day we were married (and the same day we made it official when we started dating).

Is it difficult to get the date you want? It won't be until April 2008. I want to have it at Sunset Point (we were married on a beach at sunset, so I thought this would be a great location).

As long as you call a year in advance, you should be able to get your date. Keep in mind that Disney only does intimate weddings/renewals certain days, I believe, Monday-Thursday. So, if your date were to fall on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you are looking at a custom vow renewal with a heftier price tag.

Hi there!

Congratulations on deciding to have a VR... especially at Sunset Pointe!

We are having our wedding at Sunset Pointe on a Saturday. If I'm not mistaken, the Monday to Thursday is a restriction only given at the Wedding Pavillion.

I did however read in the last couple of months that DFTW has restricted the use of Sunset Pointe in the summer months (too hot out there!). But seeing that you are planning your VR for April 2008, I don't think that will affect your plans!

It seems getting the date is not too difficult so just ring as soon as you can.
I planned on having my wedding at Sunset Point though and have been told by my EM that sunset point is offered between the months of March and October anymore

Ooops! Thanks for your post. I didn't realize that Sunset Pointe is not available from March. It's good to know!
