Intimate "reception" help needed

As we are having a very small wedding group (11 total) and many are children, we wanted to just do a luncheon at the Castle after our 10 am ceremony. Unfortuantely, they are all booked for the late seating already, according to WDW-Dine. A couple questions...for those who have used Randy and had a 10:00 ceremony (we are at YC Gazebo), would we be pushing it to try to do ceremony and post ceremony pictures and make a 12:30 seating at CRT ? Does anyone have a direct number to CRT, as I have heard people have better luck calling the restuarants directly ? If all else fails with CRT, does anyone have information on the Attic with regards to cost minimums and menu selections for an intimate reception ? Thanks in advance !

Hi, swmhc. Thought I'd try to help you out as best I can...

Our ceremony is at noon at the YC Gazebo. Randy says we should be completely finished by 2 pm at the latest, but we're having him do a couple of extra photos around Boardwalk and thus, won't leave the area until 2:30 (when the limo will pick us up and take us to the Portobello Yacht Club at Downtown Disney for our luncheon).

So to answer your question, in *theory* you could make it, but you'd be awfully rushed and probably stressed out. Especially considering they won't let you into the park with your wedding dress and you'd have to factor in changing into different clothes. If you want to call and try to find a later time, here's the number I was able to dig up online: 407-939-3463. I haven't tried it myself, so I apologize if it isn't right!

You may want to consider booking somewhere else, like the Attic you mentioned, so you don't stress yourself out making your reservation. Other people have had great times at Narccoosee's or Citrico's. We'll be eating at Portobello, which isn't too terribly fancy (which is what we wanted) but we're pretty much guaranteed we'll be secluded since they get very little foot traffic during the week for lunch.

Thanks for the input purplegirl247. I did hear back from WC today as well. The Attic is only available for Wishes receptions, so that is out. I was considering Portobello's as a possibility as well. I'm just really sad that CRT isn't going to work . But the time info is good to know as well since we haven't firmed up a schedule with Randy yet. Thanks again !

Our wedding was at 1:00 and we didnt get back to the hotel after the ceremony until 3:30 or 4.. so id say you might be pushing it but it is doable!

I had a 10am ceremony at the WP. Randy was my photographer and I had M&M at the cake cutting and I was done by 12:45. I had resv at Portobello at 1pm so I made it just in time. I agree with the others that you might be pushing it since you have to change before you go to CRT. Is it possible to have the ceremony earlier?

Are you going to be Disneymooning as well? Maybe you can book dinner that night or lunch sometime during the week at CRT. That's what we're doing: wedding's on Monday and we're eating at CRT on Tuesday, I think. Just me and DF (well, DH by then!!!).

Actually, eating at Portobello or somewhere outside of the park may actually be more fun because you'll get to wear your dress longer! Yay!
