I have been glued to this board all day looking at the wedding pictures of all the lucky Disney brides! My husband says he would like to marry me all over again. Fifteen years together; 4 kids(2 of which I brought with me from my first mistake,um, marriage),the death of both of hubby's parents, divorces of our siblings on both sides, house payments, car payments, adding our first teen driver to our auto policy last year, getting ready to add the soon-to-be 16 second inexperienced driver to the same policy, and our oldest leaving for college next year! I know I'm nuts, but it's the most romantic thing my husband has ever said to me! And he said he will do it in Walt Disney World, at my favorite place in the whole wide world, Sea Breeze Point! Our 15th wedding anniversary will be February 16, 2007, so I have plenty of time to plan. Unfortunately, our oldest will be mid-way through her first year of college, second daughter will be 16 and driving(but hopefully not a new car like our oldest), and our son will be a year away from getting his license, so money will likely be very tight. We are DVC members, so I would like to do the add-on (for @$2350?), book all our rooms using points at our home resort(BWV), and do a meal or Illuminations dessert party after the wedding. I would probably book the meal separately(by contacting the restaurant myself) rather than go through the wedding coordinator, but will use FTW for the dessert party if we do that. I am quite happy with the basics of the package(the flowers, cake, champagne/juice, etc.), but there are 2 things I would really like to add. I want the MK photo session(currently @$800), and would like to have Randy Chapman do the ceremony pictures. At our first wedding, the only thing we were disappointed with was the photographer, so I want to make up for that this time. I want LOTS of nice pictures, especially of our attendants(our children). I am not sure what I can do (if anything) with the photography included in the package if I use Randy. Could I apply the credit towards the MK session? I realize the MK photo session requires me and hubby being at MK at 6 AM, so I will need to add cosmetology at 4 or 5 AM(currently @$200?). I would also like to have a photo of my husband and myself kissing with Illuminations in the background(hence the dessert party idea), but I am not sure we will be allowed to wear our wedding attire in Epcot for the dessert party if we are having an intimate ceremony. Illuminations is so special to us, and I fell in love with the pictures several of the Dis brides posted on this board, so I really want this. We plan on having the maximum guests(20), but I am not sure if that includes the 2 of us or not. Also, Feb.16 falls on a Friday in 2007, and I would definitely want to have the ceremony on that date. Will I have to pay more for a VR on Friday at Sea Breeze Point, or is that still considered a weekday? I know I will think of a million more questions, but this post is long enough! Thanks to all of you for sharing your Fairytale with us dreamers!

i wanted to do lots of the things you do too, but again due to costs i couldn't.
i'm pretty sure you can apply the 12 photos you get towards the MK session (hopefully someone else can verify this for sure)
disney cosmo is no longer available after october/november but there are the ladies from cosmo who are setting out on their own, the numbers are on another thread, do a search and you'll find it
intimate brides aren't allowed to wear their gowns on a dessert party (how unfair is that!!!), maybe you could try for a speciality illumations cruise instead
the 20 maximum guests includes the bride and groom.

hope this helps

We did the Illuminations party and you can not wear your wedding attire! And with photographers, they have to be with Disney. It's a license thing. Do the Illuminations Party, we and all our guests loved it!!!!

Oh and Randy does alot of illumination parties, so I know that it's not just Disney photographers that can do them.

Good Luck! :flower:
