Hi!

I just wanted to see out of the four (or five if going for the premium package) wedding venues is best? :confused3

Sea Breeze Point at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, The Wedding Gazebo at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Sunrise Terrace at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Sunset Pointe at Disney's Polynesian Resort or Disney's Wedding Pavilion?

I know each has pros and cons but can any past brides or even soon to be disney brides shed any light on which would be best?

There are only 2 of us on the day and we have already picked sunset pointe, i just wanted to know if this would be best for us? (i am worried about wind and other noises on wedding video?).

Thank you for any help you can offer!

I'm not sure anyone can really answer your question...so much of that is a matter of personal choice.

My wedding is coming up in September and I chose Sunset Point because I just love a tropical setting. And now it seems my wedding theme is very Hawaiian. My dress is a Hawaiian print, and my DH2B will wear a Hawaiian style shirt. But that is my preference.

I briefly considered the Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge because it looked really nice, but ultimately the tropics won out! ;)

I don't think wind noise will be a major issue, unless it's REALLY REALLY windy. Someone posted this link for me in another thread:

It has video samples from pretty much all the Disney locations and you can see for yourself if wind noise is an issue.

Good Luck making your decision...but most of all...HAVE FUN! :wizard:

Wow! How cool is that site?? i watched a couple of sunset pointe videos as that's our location - it looks stunning! I got a shiver seeing the castle! I Can't wait now :0)

I agree that it's definitely a personal choice. We were married over six years ago at SeaBreeze Point on the Boardwalk. We had birds fighting in the trees and the boats honked when going under the bridge that's close to the gazeebo. The Yacht Club gazeebo will have the same boat horns to contend with, since the loading dock isn't too far off.

We've stayed at WL several times and have gone up to the wedding area. The view is stunning but you might have pool noise (although I doubt that it's all that bad).

We've gone over to the wedding pavillion, too. It is a beautiful area and has plenty of places for pictures. Because it's indoors, though, it didn't feel as special to us (we wanted an outside wedding).

The only place we haven't visited or seen in person is the POLY site, but with a view of the Castle and the lagoon, I doubt that you can go wrong. And I don't think you'll have to worry about boat noises....unless the ferry runs that way...I really don't know.

Congratulations on the wedding. Disney makes the whole thing SO magical. Everything went just like it was supposed to go for us. Most brides that get married elsewhere can't say that. Enjoy the moment.
