Intimate Accessories??

I'm looking to plan an intimate wedding sometime late 2007. My question is regarding the cake topper, cake knives, and toasting flutes. Does anyone have up close photos of each? Also, I know you get to keep the cake topper, but what about the knive/server and flutes? I was thinking about getting my own, but was unsure of what exactly was included in the intimate package.

The only thing (of those you mention) included in the intimate package is the cake topper.

You can probably provide your own knife/server and champagne flutes, your planner can tell you for sure how that would work (shouldn't be a big deal to get them to her just before the ceremony).

Like hiwaygal said, you only get to take home the cake topper (we had a custom cake so our Mickey & Minnie topper was still in it's box). You can definitely supply your own cake knife/server and champagne flutes, and your own topper if you want. I remember there being a place on our contract to fill in if we wanted to supply our own. The champagne glasses they let you use are just standard, traditional flutes for the bride and groom, and different glasses for the guests. The knife/server were just silver. I thought the knife/server and flutes looked nice in the pictures and I didn't want to spend the money to get our own. I have the flutes we toasted with the night DH proposed and those are very special to me.

You only get the keepsake cake topper with the intimate wedding. We let DFW supply the cake/knife set, champagne glasses and everything else. We rec'vd some nice ones as gifts and used at our home post-celebration.

Everyone pretty much covered it. I used the Mickey & Minnie cake topper and then they boxed it up for me to take home, but didn't clean it...so make sure to take it out and clean it! I provided my own knife & server & flutes for me & my groom. I had them engraved with our names and wedding date. They were Mickey & Minnie themed and matched my wedding invitations! My groom brought them over when he arrived for the wedding and gave them to our wedding planner. She then takes care of getting your items on the table with your wedding cake.
