I never tried out. I don't play sports. End of story.

I nearly died the last time I played volleyball. Some chick spiked it down and it hit my neck. knocked the wind out of me.

Whenever I try to set a ball after the opposing team serves it, I hurt my wrist badly.

When you're playing volleyball, the ball shouldn't hit your wrist.

Bumping = Forearm
Volleying = Fingertips
Smashing = Lower part of your palm (near your wrist, but not your wrist)

I think volleyball in gym needs moderation.
We shouldn't get pissed at people when they don't care (if you yell at someone, they're going to play worse on purpose)
but They should at least try to play better.

I hate it when the ball is close to me, but there's no way I'm going to hit it. And they yell at me. HELLO the little ditz who was dancing around in circles could have gotten it if she was paying attention, she could have helped me. OR when I'm not going to be able to hit it and I let it bounce (we're allowed one bounce in gym) and then it hits the wall and they yell at me. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW it was going to bounce that way.
