I seen that some people did interviews in around the same time as me and has been accepted. I did my interview on Octber 13th and I am dying to hear back any word from DIsney. I applied for concierge, merchendise, and full service food and beverage. I am a nervous wreck and all I can think about is not getting in when I want to stay positive.:scared1:

I wanted to know who all had interviews in October:
What roles did you apply for?
Are you still waiting, accepted, rejected, or pending.
If you got a letter, when?

I just need some reassurance and support (LOL) that I'm not by myself waiting because it seems as if everyone on here has gotten their acceptance letters because the other topics are going slow. All I eat, breathe and sleep is Disney and all the possiblities.:wizard:

First of all-you're not alone!

I applied in early September and after weeks of waiting saw people who applied after me getting accepted, so I know the feelings of frustration (As I'm sure most people here can relate to!) Just hang in there, and you'll hear back quicker than you are probably expecting.

As for the boards here being slow, I think it is because the people who are on disboards are more the type who have been considering doing the CP for a while, unlike facebook where a lot of the people there probably saw a flyer at their school and decided to apply. So most of the activity on here was when applications first opened up. The Spring 2010 college program group on facebook is really active, you should look that up on facebook!

Yea don't worry. You'll probably be accepted before me, as everyone else has who have interviewed after me. I've been waiting since Aug.31st.

Interviewed : October 16th, 2009

Top Three:

1. Transportation
2. Photopass Photographer
3. Merchandise

Still Waiting :bored:

I'm reallly hoping for Transportation, but I hear its harder to get :squirrel:

Vickalamode: Cogradulations on getting accepted. Thanks for the words of encouragements. It really does help.

ZoeDisney: Sorry to hear you've been waiting so long. Makes me feel bad for complaining since it hasn't even been a full two weeks since my interview. If I don't recall I think I saw that you applied for both DLR and WDW which one are you still waiting on. I hope that all goes well for you. Good luck

Solayedbac: I hope you get in. Maybe we'll get in around the same time message me when you get those infamous ears and I'll do the same. We can go crazy together. Good to you.:cheer2:

Thank you, but don't feel bad. I felt the same way when I was at my 1-2 week point. I'm still waiting for both. I applied to WDW 10/16.

Well... if it makes you feel ANY better, you'll probably hear back before me. I interviewed October 23, so I probably won't hear back until like mid-November, unless I'm very lucky!

I applied for
1. Attractions
2. Concierge
3. Merchandise

and there were a few other roles on my checklist but we didn't discuss them.

I just feel worried because I didn't really feel a connection with the recruiter who did my interview. She asked me if my name was pronounced Ma-Key-Da (which it is Makeda) I told her a lot of people get that wrong. She told my name was beautiful and she liked. She told me our conversation would take 15 minutes which it did. Once the interview started it just was straight to the point. She asked about all the basic stuff. Then we got into detail about what roles I wanted. I told her my top four and told her I'll take whatever I can get. She asked me questions about merchandising and FSFB. She told me I answered those well. I really wanted concierge though. Then she asked me about living arrangements and roommates. There was no side conversations like a lot of people say they have. I smiled and told her I was really excited about the opportunity. She thank me for the time told me to have a magical day and I told her the same.

I have reservations about the interview I was kind of nervous. I had Denise as my recruiter. Who did you guys have? How do you think your interviews went? When Does interviews ends?

Yea I had Denise for WDW! Mine was similar except that there was a short side note and some laughter about some things, and she said "excellent" after almost every answer that I gave...mine was exactly 15 min as well. I think it's just that they're being more strict about time. They're probably getting so many applicants everyday. My interview for DL was with Annette and 3 min longer, but I don't think I did as well.

*I am getting really annoyed with mickeypath. I've had to change my signature like 10 times!

That's to be expected because you know what the interview process is like that time. It's funny that I told myself to sign up for DL first so I knew what the process would be like so I can ace it with WDW. I guess I was to anxious to go through with all of that.
