What was your favorite wdw trip? Why?

Our 2001 trip. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside and my sister and her husband joined us for this trip(they had never been to WDW before). It was great to share the magic that we feel at Disney with our loved ones. It was a fantastic trip!pixiedust:

Next interview: Which is your favorite restaurant on Disney grounds and why?

I love the Cape May Cafe because it makes me feel magical because we always go there before walking to Epcot and seeing Illuminations and the food is delicious!

Next question: What is an essential must do on every Disney vacation?

we must have egg rolls in epcot. dh and i had them on our 1st trip in 1989 and now it's a must do for us. and ds just doesn't get it!!! love those egg rolls.

next ?--do you ever try to something at all 4 parks in one day?

Two parks is the maximum number we've visited in one day. So the answer to your question is no.

What is your favorite Disney movie?

Definitely Robin Hood. It has been my favorite since I was 5 and first saw it. Just a classic cartoon with some hilarious scenes & characters.
A close second favorite would be Mary Poppins.

Which do you prefer: Downtown Disney or Boardwalk area, and why?

I LOVE The Boardwalk area! To me it's a more entertaining, casual stroll than DTD. I see DTD as a busy shopping area. I love to stroll on The Boardwalk during Illuminations (or after) and watch the street performers, they're amazing. I love the little snack carts (and the find dining too!). I love to pop in the bakery for a treat, or to get some to take back to the hotel for breakfast.

I'm going to re-post my last question - I meant to say "Did you ever stay at a Disney Resort that you didn't like....but typed did like by mistake....sooo....

Did you ever stay in a Disney Resort that you really didn't like?

I didn't hate it but the Contemporary was my least favorite and that includes several value and moderates. It just reminds me of 70's style hotels...thus Contemporary:lmao: but I will like to see the new Contemporary.

My Question would be
Do you miss River Country? What should they put in the spot it occupied?:confused3

/
I've never been to River Country so I don't miss it. Haven't really thought about what they could put in it's place.

How's the weather where you live?

GORGEOUS!!! The skies are blue and the temp is right on! Today the high was in the low 70's. I am in NC and normally this time of year it;s pretty chilly and either rainy or snowy/icy.

Do you like your cell phone service?

It's Verizon, I haven't had any trouble.

Do you like to camp, or is "roughing it" to you a hotel w/out room service? :lmao:

I like to camp. BUT, I have not been camping since having 2 children. I'm not sure how current that "like" is. Also, I probably would not like to camp at WDW.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you at WDW?

It happened At the allstar resort (movies). Late in the evening we were exhausted and returned to our hotel.
I tried and tried to get my room key to work with no luck.I was starting to get frustrated when an older gentleman finally opened the door from the inside and gave me a puzzled look. ''May I help you'' he says.
My room was the next one down.:sad2: :rolleyes1

What memory of WDW stands out for you the most?

I know I should be picking a memory with the kids - but my all time favorite thing in Disney was this past December- I was there with a GF & we just sat & watched the dancing holiday lights in Epcot - the ones that move with the beat of the music. Even the fountains moved with the music! We stood there for 45 min. one night, and over an hour another night! It was so beautiful & moving. I got goosebumps everytime they did Trans Siberian Orchestra's Wizards in Winter (Carol of the Bells). Here's a pic so you know what I mean:

Did you ever have to miss a day of your Disney trip because your flight was delayed or cancelled?

Thank goodness, NO! I'd be so angry and frustrated, it would ruin part of my trip!!

Do your kids like to go on all the rides and do all the things you like to or do you have to change your plans to fit your kids' likes/dislikes?

yes but it not kids it my DF. He doesn't like roller coasters and things with heights so i have to change my plans because i want to go on the coasters.

When you go to disney, do u like to go around to all the resorts to see them?

Yes, we always try to visit a few and dine as well.

Is Main St. an 'attraction' or just a passageway to the 'lands'?

Id like to see all the resorts, but DH never wants to do that. Says it cuts into park time.....One day maybe...

Do you bring your own lunch to the parks or do you eat there?

I've never taken food or drink in the parks. I'm pretty thrifty at home, but when in Disney I'm on vacation & darn it that $4 soda is going to taste great!

Are you old enough (or fortunate enough) to have ever ridden on the old Skyway in MK?

Yes, love and miss the old skyway! Great views floating above the park.

It is definitely an attraction!

Have you ever used the Kennels at WDW and if yes did you like them?
