What's the significance of your DIS name?

it's a combined initial of my sisters name and mine plus the odd bussiness we had/have.

and started this odd jobs in 2001 and all the money we make we save it for our trips for the World!

we used to cater then we pet sit, we did grocery for sr citizens, house sits, baby sits, now we still sell candied fruits, knitted scarves and jewelry !!! Can you tell we are scared to get hungry!

A pet peeve is the whole refillable mug debacle.

MY pet peeve is that there are so many people posting that I can't keep up!!


Will you be shopping on Black Friday?

Most definitely. I'll be one of the crazies up at the crack of dawn with no makeup on. My SIL and I do this every year. DH keeps the kids at home and we shop, then come back and are napping by noon. Fun times.


What do you do for a living?

I am a nanny (kinda part time since I'm in school full time to become a teacher) to my two younger brothers (ages 2 and 6). I love it!

Do you hate black Friday or love it?? I have no money to spend, so I'm not looking forward to it...never do.

I have a love/hate relationship with BF!! I like the bargains....but, I hate getting up so early and the terrible, terrible crowds! My DD and I used to go out together but she has moved away and this year I would be all alone. I don't know if I am going to try it this year or not....

Would you prefer to go out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving or cook your own big meal?

Beat me to the post! I prefer the original meal! But the leftover turkey sandwiches are a very close second!!

neither, no one here likes cranberry sauce!!!

My SIL is making turkey, broccoli/rice casserole/hashbrown casserole, stuffing and some other stuff

My DH's twin brother and his girlfriend are making pecan pie.

Do you know a twin or have twins in the family??

My neice and nephew are twins, and their dad (my BIL) is a boy/girl twin also.
