My son's name is A. Ryan T..... (A. = Alfred ) DH, FIL, and grandfathers going back 3 or 4 generations all have Alfred R. T...... Some go by their middle name (like DH & DS), others by first (FIL goes by Al). I wanted to keep this going (goes back to late 1800's) so, we already knew first name would be Alfred (okay, I cringe a bit, and I'm sure he'll hate me one day...but it IS a neat tradititon.) Didn't TRY to keep the middle name starting with a "R", but we really liked the name "Ryan", so we went with it. Besides, if the men on DH's side of the family put the "R" name first, the initials would be "RAT" instead of "ART"

Both DSs have their first Speech & Debate competition of the school year. It is supposed to rain. And, maybe a movie on Sunday.
