Interview the person below you (Part II)

We missed fireworks every night because the kids were too tired to stay! This time (when we go in 8 days!!!), we will be leaving the resorts a little later in the day so we can stay for the fireworks.

TNP... What's your favorite smell at the World?

The smell of the Bakery as you are walking down MS. A close second would be on Soarin where you are flying over the orange groves.

What type of camera(s) do you use while at the World?

A small light point & shoot digital camera - currently a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350.

TNP... When was the first time you visited WDW?

Martin

June 2008 at the age of 24. I am now addicted. Family and friends come to me with question about disney. I am getting ready for my 3rd trip this June.

What is your favorite ride throughout all of Disney?

What is your favorite ride throughout all of Disney?

Splash because it's exciting and super themed. Big Thunder is a close second. It's hand that they are near each other.

TNP.........How often do you watch the park parades?

In a 7 day stay, we watched 3 parades, so I would say about every other day. We're leaving TOMORROW and I am looking forward to seeing the new Pixar parade at Hollywood Studios, even though the reviews aren't great. People are saying it's too short at about 15 minutes, but I think that's a great length of time... not too long.

TNP - What's your best tip to cool down while in the parks during the hot summer months?

We like to go back to the resort and go swimming. If we are in the parks, then we are eating ice cream or going into an attraction that is indoors.

What is the perfect season to go to Disney and why?

to me any season is a good time to go to Disney. I love just being about to spend time and make memories with my family when we go. So ANY season is a good time.

Out of all your Sourvenirs from Disney, Which one is your favorite and why?

My favorite souvenir is a blue picture frame with the castle and lyrics to "A Whole New World" on it that I got from MouseGears!

What is your favorite part of Disney planning?

ADR's, I love love planning the eating part, especially when on one of the dining plans........

What is your favorite restaurant at each park and why?

What is your favorite restaurant at each park and why?

MK-Liked Crystal Palace, more for what it offered us than for the food that was offered. Nothing here I couldn't absolutely pass up and have many times, we tend to return to the room for lunch and a nap when at MK. Still haven't tried Tony's (coordinated with parade times) or CRT and will probably put both on my short list for my next trip.

Epcot-Too many options here and sometimes I have to put aside my favorites so I can try others. But, I have a hard time passing up Garden Grill, also really enjoy the sampler platter at Marrakesh. Germany or Canada will probably make the short list for the next trip.

DHS-The TS here don't do much for me. But, I do LOVE to pick up chicken strips/fries basket at Rosie's (and they used to have THE best choc. cake in all WDW and because it was served on paper plates was SUPER cheap) then walk across the street into F! and eat away our wait time. I did enjoy the OLD Hollywood & Vine Buffet before it was changed. I applauded WDW for putting spicy and/or unusual food out on a buffet :thumbsup2 No one on the short list for the next trip :guilty: will just have to do the best we can with what they offer. I've been known to carry a backpack lunch into this park because the options are THAT pitiful.

AK-Again the TS don't appeal to me in this park we always use our CS options here at the Flame Tree BBQ (whether DDP or paying OOP). Will probably put the buffet on the short list for the next trip.

Whew that was TMI, Which Disney location in the world would you MOST like to visit and why?

Ok, no one's answering and it's been more than 24 hours.

Sooooo, given the massive winter storm hitting most of the country tonight, someone tell me about the HEAT they experienced on a trip to WDW?

We went in mid-June and it was hot! Being from the South, it probably wasn't as bad on us as it was others. We had mister fans and lots of water.

TNP, how much time do you put into planning your next Disney trip?

tough call, usually I need a year to save from when I pick a date. From that point on usually I can be found spending my free time pouring over boards like the dis. :surfweb:

TNP. have you ever done a Photopass share ?

Our 1st trip to WDW is coming up in May, and when I dreamed of taking my family, I always wanted to stay at the CR with the monorail and Chef Mickey's right there. It's the original. I wasn't able to get it this time, but I'm looking forward to WL.:)

TNP...An hour left to closing at MK, you still have energy, what do you try to do in that hour?
