Interstate 10

Does anyone out there know if interstate 10 is open from Louisiana to Florida?? Was wondering on any closures from the storm.

As of this morning, yes, there are several spots that are closed. You can most likely google I12 to get the latest, most up to date conditions. If you're driving through within the next week, I'd expect heavier traffic (ppl are STILL being evac'd from flooding areas as waters continue to rise), the presence of state troopers/official vehicles, etc. It's much much worse than anticipated, and won't return to normal quickly
