internships...when do they decide?

My daughter is "under consideration" for 5 internships. She is supposed to finish her CP on January 5. We are waiting and waiting to buy a plane ticket for my husband to fly down and drive the car home with her.
It's a month away; does anyone know when they choose spring internships? She says we just have to wait, and obviously she doesn't want to call and call, but our costs keep going up for that plane ticket. DH is ready to fly down and drive the car home without her, but she says she will need the car to have any internships.

a lot of people were just nlic'd for a ton of internships today so that means there's movement. i've seen people be accepted on a weekly basis. i guess it all depends on which internship it is. i've heard that they all move at their own pace

I was wondering the same thing. I recently applied for the Fall 2015 internship for the Disney Fairytale Weddings, and the application due date was the end of February. Does anyone know when applicants would hear back from them?

I applied for the Web UI Developer internship and had the phone screening interview early last week. I was told that decisions are usually made by mid to late April. If you haven't had a phone screening yet, I would expect to you get one pretty soon if you haven't been NLIC yet. The actual time frame for interviews and offers depends on the department but everyone should know by the end of April for internships that begin in the Summer. The one I applied for starts in June and runs through January.
