We are getting ready to head out to Vero Beach in about an hour and I was wondering if the had free internet access for members yet?

I read on another thread that WiFi is up, working, and free for DVC members. I'm wanting confirmation as well, as I'm heading out there tomorrow!

we always saw plenty of people using their laptops in the lobby area, we had a room near the Green Cabin room and had internet access which was better nearer the door!!!! so I'm not sure of the range, but yes WiFi was free!

Disney's Vero Beach Resort Adds Wi-Fi Service

Disney's Vero Beach Resort has moved forward with its plans to add wireless Internet access to its menu of offerings (as reported in the spring edition of Disney Files Magazine) and has officially launched the high-speed service, effective March 29.

The wireless signal is available in all Guest rooms, as well as key public areas of the resort. A daily fee of $9.95 plus tax applies, beginning when the service is initiated and running up to, but not including, the Guest's departure date. There is no charge for this service for Disney Vacation Club Members staying at the resort using their membership.

Guests without Wi-Fi capability may utilize the resort's in-room, dial-up Internet access (complimentary when utilizing a local telephone number to access one's service provider).

They DO have it --free- for DVC members...we just used it there June 12-15.

We had wifi in our room in building 15.

Yep... found it.. No charge... just have to get the key from the front desk.

Internet is free and it is a lot faster then the internet service at VWL!!

I agree about the service at Vero. I loved that we could get it WiFi, and not have to hook up to the wall like at VWL.

It was a *pain* to have to go back to the desk to ask for a new card since we were there when the card expired (on Saturday at midnight).

Too bad they couldn't give us both numbers at check-in since they knew we were going to overlap the codes.

(and it really wasn't a pain, but just would have been nice to not have to get up and do that before we could login Sunday morning)
